Actor Awards 2026: Yerin Ha Shares Her Pitch for a Bridgerton-Heated Rivalry Crossover

Yerin Ha is pondering a trip to a different cottage.

In fact, the Bridgerton star is all on board to join forces with another steamy series: Heated Rivalry.

“I’m gonna tell the producers out there watching,” host Keltie Knight pitched to Yerin on Live From E! at the 2026 Actor Awards at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles March 1, “we need a Bridgerton-Heated Rivalry crossover. Because that would just explode our televisions.”

And Yerin—who looked stunning in a feather black and white Balenciaga set—was fully on board, noting, “[We] have different cottages, we can go to different cottages.” (Click here to see all the red red carpet fashion.)

And those cottages play a big role on both shows, with Heated Rivalry’s Shane Hollander (Hudson Williams) and Ilya Rozanov (Connor Storrie) heading to theirs, and Yerin’s character Sophie and Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson) falling in love at their cottage.

As Keltie joked, it would be “a corset in a cottage,” adding that she and Yerin should be “in charge of everything.”

And while a Bridgerton-Heated Rivalry is far away on the horizon, Yerin is still focused on season four of the Netflix series, which premiered its second half on Feb. 26. And while the 28-year-old was “quite jet-lagged” from her travels, she was thrilled to be at the award ceremony where she’ll be taking on the role of Actor Awards Ambassador.

“I'm just so excited and honored to be here with other actors,” she told E!. “I feel like I rarely get to be in places like this so it's really exciting.”

Aside from the excitement, Yerin has also been candid about some of the less thrilling parts of filming a steamy show like Bridgerton, namely that she developed follicultiies—a condition where the hair follicles become inflamed.

“There’s a scene where we are in a bathtub and basically I put baby powder all on me because I was told it would help dry my skin to put the intimacy wear on with my tape,” she explained on Capital Breakfast in February, “and then basically the next day after the bathtub, I got hives all over my body and got folliculitis and needed steroid cream.”

“But I blame myself,” she added, “because I think it was a combination of baby powder and the bath water.”

During the scene, she and Luke were submerged in a bathtub for around seven hours, and while he didn’t experience a similar reaction after filming, Yerin joked, “I’m a sensitive gal.”
