What Ashley Tisdale Texted Meghan Trainor After "Toxic" Mom Group Drama
Meghan Trainor is all about putting herself first.
Less than three months after she and husband Daryl Sabara welcomed daughter Mikey, the “All About That Bass” singer shared that “after a lot of reflection and some really tough conversations” she had made the “difficult decision” to cancel her upcoming Get in Girl tour that was set to kick off June 12 in Michigan.
“Balancing the release of a new album, preparing for a nationwide tour, and welcoming our new baby girl to our growing family of five has just been more than I can take on right now,” Meghan wrote in an April 16 Instagram Story, “and I need to be home and present for each and all of them at this time.”
The 32-year-old—who is also mom to sons Riley, 5, and Barry, 2, with Daryl—knew the decision would “come as a disappointment to my fans” and she was “so sorry to let you down.” Still, she knew it was not only the right decision for herself, but also for her loved ones.
“I promise I'll be back soon, and I can't wait for you to hear this new record,” she added. “I’m so proud of it, and I'm endlessly grateful for your love and support always.”
Meghan—who is set to release her album Toy With Me on April 24—has been candid about how she’s focused on self-love, especially with her busy schedule as a mom of three.

“You have to take care of your mental health first,” she shared with Us Weekly in an interview published April 15. “I’m on antidepressants. I’m in therapy every week. I was in couples therapy for a minute when we needed it… I just got diagnosed with ADHD. I’m testing my blood, poop, my everything, to make sure I’m at peak healthiness.”
“I love asking for help,” she added. “I’m like, ‘How can I improve in every way?’ I can’t do it all. I wish I could, and I can’t.”
