As for other nominees? Up for nine awards, Taylor Swift was in good company as Alex—as well as Sabrina Carpenter and Bad Bunny—all follow suit with eight nominations each, with their wins being determined by the fans who voted for their favorite artist in each category.

And trophies were just part of the festivities. After all, chart-topping musicians hitting the stage included Kehlani, Alex Warren, Lainey Wilson, TLC, Salt-N-Pepa and En Vogue.

It’s set to be a big night for Miley Cyrus, who will be presented with the Innovator Award to mark her two-decade career in music.
