Bridgerton’s Phoebe Dynevor Engaged to Cameron Fuller! (Exclusive)
Phoebe Dynevor met her fiancé Cameron Fuller the old-fashioned way—at least by 2026 standards.
Two years after the Bridgerton star confirmed her engagement to the actor, she reflected on their meet cute, confirming it occurred during the Sundance Film Festival in 2023.
“I did a film called Fair Play,” Phoebe reflected of the romantic thriller she starred in alongside Alden Ehrenreich during an April 21 appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, “and I went to Sundance, and it was a big high in my career, it was like one of the first movies I’d done and it was getting all this hype so I was feeling good, and there he was.”
But the duo didn’t brush shoulders on the film festival’s red carpet.
“It was at Tao, the pop-up,” Phoebe continued. “We were at the club.”
Always looking for dating tips, host Drew Barrymore was floored by the naturalness of the couple’s meet up, to which Phoebe joked, “You can meet people at the clurb.”
Phoebe’s sweet reflection of the first days of her romance comes nearly two years after she let her massive rock take center stage at the Met Gala in 2024, donning her ring with her pale pink wrap dress from Victoria Beckham’s fashion line.
“It's so crazy and surreal," the 31-year-old mused of the romantic milestone to E! News at the time. “I'm trying to just be present in this moment right now but it's very hard.”
Indeed, the now-engaged couple had a whirlwind romance after meeting in January 2023—debuting their relationship to the world just six months later at Wimbledon. The big step was especially grand for Phoebe, who previously spoke of the overwhelming experience of dating in the public eye after her 2021 romance with Pete Davidson.

“I didn’t think anyone would care,” Phoebe admitted to Elle in 2023 of her relationship with the Saturday Night Live alum. “I was just being a young woman and dating and somehow that provokes a conversation. There were lots of hard lessons I had to learn through basically just having a personal life.”
