Khloe Kardashian is truly indebted to her daughter True Thompson.
A little over a week after the Kardashians star and ex Tristan Thompson’s daughter celebrated her 8th birthday, Khloe shared an emotional message about their bond.
“For eight years, You’ve saved me more times than I can count, simply by being you,” Khloe—also mom to 3-year-old Tatum with Tristan—wrote in an April 21 Instagram post. “Your love is pure magic. Your laughter is healing and infectious, your hugs are precious and your soul is my forever.”
As she put it, “You make me want to be better every single day, not just for you and Tatum, but because OF you and Tatum."
In addition to emphasizing that being her kids’ mom is what she’s “most proud of,” the Good American co-founder couldn’t help but get sentimental about her first baby growing up.
“Eight sounds and feels different,” the Khloe in Wonder Land host continued. “Your heart expanding, your thoughts deepening, your light becoming even more your own. There is something so sacred about the wonder in you. The innocence in your eyes.”
Of course, this isn’t the first time Khloe has gotten real about motherhood—and how it’s changed her.
“I definitely have more empathy,” Khloe mused to Cosmopolitan of her transformation since becoming a mom in 2021. “And the motivation that having a child gives you...you want them to be proud of you so badly. That’s not just work, but my manners and how I treat people. You just carry yourself in a different way, or I try to.”

And while the Khloud Foods founder has always been a businesswoman, she admitted that her own busy schedule no longer takes priority.
“Some things are non-negotiable for me,” she continued. “I try and take her to every gymnastics class and I schedule things around her schedule – I live and die by a schedule! Every single day, everything is accounted for and that gives me a sense of peace because there are typically no surprises.”
