Demi Lovato Postpones Start of Tour to Protect Her Health
Jordan “Jutes” Lutes makes Demi Lovato truly glow—sorry not sorry.
And the duo—celebrating their first anniversary May 25—continue to prove they are that couple. Even though they'll be apart on their special day as they each tackle their own tours, Demi is confident distance will only make the heart grow fonder.
After all, time has already done that. As she told E! News Erin Lim Rhodes in an exclusive interview, the Confident artist continues to “fall in love more and more every day."
“I really thought on my wedding day—that was maxed out, like the most amount of love that you’ll ever feel for a person,” she admitted, “and then time goes by and you just form this connection that is so intimate and so fulfilling that you just fall completely more and more in love.”
As for how their love keeps building up like a skyscraper?
“We laugh, we have so much fun together,” Demi mused. “We stay up late laughing until we’re crying and it just feels like a giant sleepover with your best friend that you happen to be really, really attracted to.”
And although her It’s Not That Deep tour—which kicks off April 13—will put a temporary pause on their daily sleepover, Demi affirmed Jutes has been “so supportive,” amid rehearsals, adding, “That’s all I can ask for.”

As she put it, “You feel more open and you feel more like yourself ready to take on anything.”
