Tiger Woods Says He's Seeking Treatment Toward "Lasting Recovery" After DUI Arrest
Vanessa Trump is standing by her man.
One week after Tiger Woods was arrested and charged with driving under the influence following a rollover car crash in Florida, his girlfriend expressed her support for him.
Vanessa—the ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr.—shared a photo of herself cuddled up with the legendary golfer on Instagram Stories April 3. Alongside the snap, in which the couple was laid out on a hammock, she wrote, "Love you."
And she isn't the only member of the Trump family with Tiger on her mind. In fact, President Donald Trump shared an update on his health, telling The New York Post March 31, "I think he's doing great, he's doing good."
He added, "He's an amazing guy. He's an amazing athlete."
Tiger was taken into custody on March 27 after his Land Rover crashed when he clipped a pickup truck. Responding deputies from the Martin County Sheriff's Office discovered two hydrocodone opioid pain pills in his pant pocket, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by E! News.
Four days later, the 51-year-old—who, in 2017, pleaded guilty to reckless driving after testing positive for pain killers, sleeping pills, xanax and THC—entered a not guilty plea, per court records obtained by E!.
Sheriff John Budensiek shared insight into his office's findings, telling reporters during a press conference the day of the accident that DUI investigators found Tiger "did exemplify signs of impairment."
"They did do some in-depth roadside tests," he said. "And when it was determined, he was placed under arrest and taken to the Martin County Jail."

"Mr. Woods did a breathalyzer test, blew triple zeros, but when it came time for us to ask for a urinalysis test, he refused," he added. "There is a Florida statute which he will be charged with for refusing to take that test, but we will never get definitive results as to what he was impaired on at the time of the crash."
One week after his arrest, Tiger addressed the incident, announcing that he was stepping back to seek treatment.
"This is necessary in order for me to prioritize my well-being and work toward lasting recovery," he wrote on X March 31. "I'm committed to taking the time needed to return in a healthier, stronger and more focused place, both personally and professionally. I appreciate your understanding and support, and ask for privacy for my family, loved ones and myself at this time."
While Tiger steps away from the spotlight to focus on his health, take a look back at his career.
