Jennifer Lopez is going to live her life all the way and won’t waste it.
The “Let’s Get Loud” singer celebrated Easter this year by sharing a poignant message about embracing new chapters after facing hardships.
“Happy Easter, everybody,” Jennifer wrote in her April 5 Instagram post, which featured two selfies of her wearing bunny ears and a platter of Easter cookies. “God shows us that all miracles are possible…He can rise from the dead and bring new life.”
The 56-year-old—who shares 18-year-old twins Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony—then added, “Here’s to new beginnings.”
Jennifer is no stranger to embracing a fresh start. After all, she has gone through many ups and downs over the last few years, including her divorce from Ben Affleck. But as she’s emphasized, she is focused on the road ahead—which includes taking the stage at her Las Vegas residency.
“I’m in my happy era,” Jennifer said during a Good Morning America appearance last month. “I feel like for the first time in my life, I’m free. I’m on my own. It feels really good. I didn’t really know what that felt like since I was in my early 20s and even before that I always had a boyfriend. There was always someone in my life and so many other things that I felt were out of my control.”
“I’ve gotten to the point where I really trust myself,” she added, “and appreciate myself a little bit more.”

And even though she’s preparing to start yet another chapter in August when her twins head to college, Jennifer feels nothing but gratitude for her current stage of life.
“I feel very joyful. I'm very aware of things that I have learned along the way. I'm very grateful,” she told Entertainment Tonight in early March. “I just wake up every day with a smile on my face. It's a different life now than it was a few years ago.”
