Céline Dion and 3 Sons Send Message to Her Husband René Angélil 10 Years After His Death

Céline Dion’s childhood is all coming back to you now.

Quite literally as a series based on the “My Heart Will Go On” singer has been ordered by LA’s Diamant Rouge Entertainment, and is set to be produced by her brother Jacques Dion

“This series represents something deeply meaningful for our family, as it captures the spirit, struggles, and love that defined our upbringing,” Jacques told Deadline in a May 28 statement. “We are proud to finally share this story with the world in a way that feels true to who we are.”

The upcoming series will have Zoë Green as a showrunner and is based on Dion, A Family Saga, a book written by the Grammy winner’s nephew Jimmy Dion, who is also Jacques’ son. It will follow Céline’s early years growing up in Quebec, as well as her family’s close-knit dynamic with her mother Thérése Dion and her 13 siblings.

Casting has yet to take place, but Céline has already been portrayed on stage in the Broadway musical Titaníque, which retells the story of the 1997 movie Titanic from the perspective of Céline—who in the comedy claims to have been on the boat.

While the “All by Myself” singer herself has not yet seen the production co-creator and Céline Dion actress Marla Mindelle previously told E! News she’s been assured that she would love it.

Her music publishers, her lawyers, her backup dancers, her makeup artists, her physician from Canada, her sister went to see the Montreal production,” Marla told E! last June before the show made its way to Broadway. “And they all say the same thing, that she would absolutely love it.”

And for Marla—who also co-wrote the production alongside Constantine Rousouli and Tye Blue—the “I’m Alive” singer’s opinion is absolutely paramount.

“We did this out of the fact that we loved Titanic growing up, but we all f--king love Céline Dion," she emphasized. “She was my touchstone growing up, I aspired to sing like her. So it's really a love letter to her and making sure that we protect and honor her legacy.”

While Céline’s show is still in the early stages of production, there are plenty of others to keep on your radar. Keep reading for every series to add to your watchlist…
