Tom Brady Reveals the Sneaky Way He Attends His Kids’ Sports Games
The GOAT brought his kid to the court.
Tom Brady had a boys’ night out with his eldest son Jack, 18, as they watched the Miami Heat take on the Boston Celtics in Florida on April 1.
In fact, Jack, whom Tom shares with ex Bridget Moynahan, looked like the spitting image of his father—not to mention just as tall—in a video posted to Instagram by the official Heat and NBA accounts, which quipped, “Not an April Fools joke… the [goat emoji] has been spotted!”
While the matchup did not result in a win for the home team, the father-son duo are no strangers to watching pro games together. Tom has shared glimpses of his kids, including his children Benjamin, 16, and Vivian, 13, with ex-wife Gisele Bündchen, at sporting events over the years.
Jack has even met some of the NBA’s biggest stars during outings with his dad, including New York Knicks player Karl-Anthony Towns. The center forward shared a look at their practice together, which saw him give the teen pointers and Jack show off a slam dunk. As the basketball star captioned the November pics, “Next time we’re running routes?”
While the seven-time Super Bowl champ can often be found checking out the pros play, he’s just as tuned into his own kids’ athletic feats—although they aren’t necessarily looking out for him in the stands.
Admitting it’s “probably pretty irritating” for his teens that he wants to see them play, he explained on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in March, “They want me to stand outside the arena when they're playing. They're like, ‘Dad, don't come in here.’”
However, he does take an incognito approach to his attendance, often donning a hat and hoodie to avoid detection. And he does so “because you just want the attention focused on the kids, and that's where it should be.”
And since putting down the football for good, Tom, who often showcases special moments with his kids, is more committed than ever to spending time with his trio.
“I love those little kiddos more than anything,” the New England Patriots alum told E! News in 2024. “I love spending time with them. They’re the best part of every day of mine.”
