Sandra Bullock Finally Makes an Instagram Account—and Immediately Trolls Channing Tatum
There are some things Sandra Bullock knows for certain—and a comeback is one.
The Practical Magic actress had all eyes on her as she reunited with costar Nicole Kidman at CinemaCon 2026 April 14, where they were promoting their beloved film’s highly anticipated sequel.
For her first red carpet appearance since 2024, the Bird Box star looked red hot in a monochromatic suit. Opting to keep her fire engine red blazer open to show off a black bralette that matched her shoes, Sandra, 61, dazzled as she made her way past photographers.
As for her glam, the Miss Congeniality star wore fresh-faced makeup while her brunette locks cascaded past her shoulders.
Meanwhile, Nicole leaned into her witchy side as she wore a flowy black dress that featured sheer panels and lace details. To top off her look, the Big Little Lies star wore matching black heels.
And though Sandra and Nicole last shared the screen in the 1998 film, where they played sisters Sally Owens and Gillian Owens, they made it clear it was like no time had passed when they returned for Practical Magic 2.
After all, the duo even cracked a joke about Nicole’s iconic—and very fitting for Practical Magic—AMC ad.

“Why do we come here, Nicole?” Sandra asked Nicole, according to Deadline, as they took the stage at the event, to which The Undoing alum responded, “We come to this place for magic.”
Sharing what it felt like to return to the big screen with Nicole, Sandra added it “felt like we came back to a home that we once lived in.”
In honor of the film, Sandra also dedicated her inaugural Instagram post to the project. Indeed, after years of adamant refusal to join the platform, Sandra—mom to kids Louis, 16, and Laila, 11—made her first post a tribute to the long-awaited sequel, in theaters September 18.

In the April 14 Instagram video, Sandra proved her powers still work as she can be seen in costume using a little magic to turn on a blender by simply pointing at it.
As she captioned the post, “Midnight somewhere…”
With her new social media account, The Proposal star also took a moment to acknowledge her return to the spotlight. Indeed, Sandra commented under a July Instagram post of her and Nicole hugging, “We’re so back.”
