Kleinfeld Bridal
If you've ever watched an episode of Say Yes to the Dress, you know that Pnina Tornai is one of the most iconic bridal designers (with exclusive designs available at Kleinfeld) of this generation.
After debuting her new 2026 Love by Pnina Tornai collection, the designer revealed the top wedding dress trends you're going to see this year:
- Dramatic, fairytale ball gowns
- Body-hugging mermaid dresses
- Timeless off-the-shoulder A-line silhouettes
- Unique accessories, from capes to gloves
Interestingly enough, Tornai says, "It’s actually the bride that sets the trends not the designers. We’re here to serve the bride." And in 2026, brides want eye-catching ball gowns and figure-enhacing mermaid dresses with lots of volume.
That being said, maximalist brides are leveraging accessories rather than opulent gowns to take their look to the next level. "That’s where I think we’re heading, less on the dress," she muses. "We’ve seen it all, so it’s really about personalizing your look with accessories."
While some brides want a bold, unique look, many prefer something less trendy. Tornai shares, "The majority of brides I meet, believe it or not, most of them pick a timeless, classic dress." An example? The designer's off-the-shoulder A-line dress that has been a years-long bestseller.

Wedding dress shopping can feel overwhelming. But after consulting thousands and thousands of brides, Tornai has a few tips that will help keep you sane (and find the dress of your dreams).
"Try to limit the number of dresses," she advises "because once you reach dress number 100, you confuse yourself." Tornai suggests doing your homework, selecting styles and designers you'd like to try on ahead of time.
However, don't get too stuck on what you think you want. "The most important thing is to stay open-minded. Don’t have a fixed idea," she suggests. Sometimes, the dress you never thought you'd wear is the one that ends up being the one you say "yes" too, Tornai says.

"I came out with a collection with waists that were really very dropped, like underneath the derrière. What it does is it accentuates the beautiful shape of a bride," she explains.
Show Me Your Mumu Dalia Maxi Dress
With its drop-waist satin bodice and semi-sheer chiffon skirt, this sleek and modern dress is right on trend. It comes with a scarf for accessorizing.
The one silhouette that doesn't stop selling? "I would say the A-line." Tornai reveals, "One of my bestselling dresses forever and ever is an off-the-shoulder, corset dress with an A-line skirt made out of very classic lace."
Jenny by Jenny Yoo Carmella Off-Shoulder Appliqué Lace A-Line Wedding Gown
With its sweeping train, floral appliqués, and vintage button details, this A-line dress comes with a removable off-the-shoulder shrug made from delicate chantilly lace.
For the indecisive bride, Tornai suggests a mermaid dress. "A bride that is hesitating between a fitted dress and a full ball gown gets to wear them both in one," she raves.
White by Vera Wang Tulle Trumpet Wedding Dress
Boasting a figure-hugging draped bodice, this dress is balanced by a romantic voluminous tulle skirt.
"I think that accessorizing is key," says Tornai. "When you’re willing to wear incredible accessories you don’t need it to be on the dress. It can be a head piece, it can be gorgeous earrings, cuffs, shoes, a veil that makes a statement or tells a story."
Geisha Designs Lace Maxi Cape
Upgrade a minimalist wedding dress by adding this cape. Crafted from sheer lace, it provides a fairytale feel to any dress.
