Nigerian digital creator Peller has shaved his head in a show of solidarity with his wife, Jarvis, following online backlash and criticism she received for her cropped hairstyle.
In a video shared online, Peller visited a barbershop and explained his decision to adopt the same look as his wife to surprise her. He expressed his frustration with the negative comments she had been receiving:
"I want to barb skolo to surprise my wife. Because she barb skolo, everybody is abusing her and talking a lot about her."
After explaining his motivation, the content creator used clippers to shave off his hair. A later segment of the video captured the moment Peller revealed his new look to Jarvis, who appeared delighted by her husband's supportive gesture.
Jarvis had previously chosen to shave her head ahead of the couple's traditional and white wedding ceremonies. Her hairstyle choice had drawn mixed reactions and negative comments across social media platforms prior to Peller's public display of support on August 14, 2026.
