Amaya Espinal never said she was perfect, but her new boyfriend doesn’t seem to have many flaws.

One month after debuting her new romance on social media, the Love Island USA alum raved about her mystery man—whose identity she has not shared publicly—revealing that he’s one of her loudest cheerleaders despite his preference to keep a low profile.

“My boyfriend is very supportive, and I feel like that's what I love so much,” she said during an exclusive interview with E! News at the Elton John AIDS Foundation’s 2026 Oscars viewing party in Los Angeles March 15. “He doesn't get jealous.”

In fact, Amaya, 26, admitted her boyfriend’s aversion to publicity is exactly what she’s looking for in a partner at this stage of her life.

“What makes our relationship so special is the fact that he's not in the spotlight,” she continued. “Being in the public eye, going back home to something quiet and safe is something that I really find special.”

Since winning season seven last summer alongside Bryan Arenales—whom Amaya subsequently broke up with in August—the reality star has been making the most of every opportunally that’s come her way. And with the Peacock dating series set to return in June, she offered her advice for the incoming islanders.

“Be yourself. Don't lose who you are,” she shared. “There's going to be moments where it is tough because you're isolated for three months, but that's going to be a unique experience that you are going to grow from, and something that you probably will never experience again.”

“I’m really excited for season eight,” she added. “I’m really excited for the new people coming.”

Amaya wasn’t the only big name on the red carpet to celebrate Hollywood’s biggest night. For more Oscars fashion, keep scrolling…
