Kylie Jenner’s kids are officially keeping up with their reality TV roots.

The beauty mogul—mom to kids Stormi Webster, 8, and Aire Webster, 4, with ex Travis Scott—revealed she recently showed her firstborn an early episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians as a way to explain the origins of their family’s celebrity status.

“Some things I didn't realize were inappropriate, so right when I knew that it was about to start playing, I fast-forwarded through all the inappropriate stuff,” Kylie, 28, said on the April 1 episode of the Big Bro With Kid Cudi podcast. “But I showed her a cute scene of a house party that we had and some little things that I knew were fine.”

But the trip down memory lane left the Kylie Cosmetics founder—who was just 10 when the E! series premiered in 2007—with an unexpected sense of melancholy, as she admitted to “weeping in my bed” while processing her feelings after the viewing.

“I don't know why that happened to me,” she continued. “Maybe it's my daughter being the same age as I was, and seeing my family, and [to] be feeling so grateful for all that we built—but also mourning that closeness when we were all living under the same roof.”

“It was very emotional,” Kylie added. “I didn’t know it was gonna hit me like that.”

As for what prompted the sweet bonding moment? Stormi probed her mom about their family’s notoriety, which Kylie suspected was the result of interactions with her classmates.

“I think now that she's in school, she's asking more questions,” the Khy founder shared on the podcast. “She says some kids are fans of her dad, so I think it's becoming more present in her mind.”

And Kylie—who began dating Timothée Chalamet in 2023—may eventually have more little ones to enlighten, as she recently shared her hopes of expanding her brood in the future.

“In the last years of my 20s, I want to focus on just me, my businesses, my work, traveling with my kids, enjoying my kids,” she told Vanity Fair in an interview published March 11, adding, “I do want to have more kids.”
