Oscars 2026: Michael B. Jordan, Kylie Jenner and More Who Changed Their Looks for After-Parties
Kim Kardashian made a once in a blue moon fashion choice.
When the reality star hit the carpet at the annual Vanity Fair party for the Academy Awards on March 15, fans may have felt like something looked different. But no, it wasn’t her usual long locks chopped into a sleek lob, or the gold bodycon dress she wore: If you looked closely, Kim’s eyes were an icy blue.
Indeed, instead of her usual brown eyes, the 45-year-old donned blue contact lenses to complement the Gucci FW26 gown she wore to Vanity Fair’s annual bash. She kept the rest of her look simple, her shoes hidden away being the floor-skimming dress and her only jewelry a diamond ear cuff.
Kim expressed her gratitude to Gucci and its creative director Demna Gvasalia for helping bring the look to life, the self-described “Gucci Girl” writing on Instagram after the party, “DEMNA 4 EVER @GUCCI.”
But the SKIMS founder wasn’t the only A-lister to be styled by the brand for the Vanity Fair bash—also dressed in the designer’s clothing were stars Adrien Brody, Keke Palmer, Kate Hudson, Laura Harrier and Karlie Kloss.
For Kate, her black Gucci number—which boasted a cutout across her stomach—was actually her second look of the evening. Like many nominees often opt to do, the Song Sung Blue star wore a sparkling turquoise Armani Privé gown to the ceremony before changing into something a little more comfortable for the post-show festivities. As for guests of only the Vanity Fair party? Kim was in good company: Not only was her sister Kylie Jenner there alongside her boyfriend Timothée Chalamet, but sister Kendall Jenner and mom Kris Jenner were also in attendance, the latter joined by her boyfriend Corey Gamble.
Kendall wore a sky blue dress, while Corey and Kris matched in all-black looks. Kylie, meanwhile, changed out of her sparkling Schiaparelli gown for a chic McQueen dress.
And though Khloe Kardashian stayed home, she was still her family’s biggest fan. Under Kim’s post, she commented, “Wow wow wow,” while praising Kylie’s look on Instagram, writing, “My heart skipped a beat.”
