Nollywood actor cum politician, Kenneth Okonkwo, has accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) government of intentionally hiding many things from Nigerians.
Naija News reports that Okonkwo made this known during an interview on ‘Sunrise Daily’, a programme on Channels Television.
Speaking on the recently concluded Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Area Council elections, in which the APC swept five of the six Area Councils, Kenneth said the elections were conducted under an unknown law.
According to the chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), the ruling party is dubious and warned that Nigerians should not be carried away by their acts.
Kenneth Okonkwo further questioned why the gazetted copy of the Electoral Act 2026 has not been released.
He said, “Nigerians should not be carried away by what this dubious APC is doing. Up till now, the gazetted copy of the Electoral Act 2026 is not out.
“APC is intentionally hiding everything so that Nigerians do not even understand until it is too late.
“The FCT election was conducted under an unknown law. And this is against the rule of law. Before you implement a law on the people, it must be publicly published.”
Meanwhile, Kenneth Okonkwo recently alleged that the assassination attempt on Labour Party 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, was sponsored by the Edo State government or its agents.
Naija News recalls that gunmen attacked Peter Obi, along with other chieftains of the ADC in Edo State.
Okonkwo, during an interview on Arise Television’s ‘Prime Time’, recalled a previous threat issued by the incumbent Edo State Governor, Monday Okpehbolo, to Peter Obi against entering the state without his clearance.
