Dua Lipa, Callum Turner's Italian Wedding Includes A Sweet Nod to Their Meet-Cute
Callum Turner and Dua Lipa get deeper than you’ve ever known with each other.
Less than a month after the couple got married in an intimate London ceremony, the Eternity actor shared insight into their eternal bond.
“We make sure we’re together as much as possible,” Turner told The Hollywood Reporter in an interview published June 10. “You want to be inspired by the person you’re with."
And the 36-year-old exemplified just how the “Training Season” singer continues to influence him, particularly in taste.
He revealed that, just before the interview, the pair went to see Obsession at Lipa’s suggestion—but he was eager to get back to his book White Teeth, which Lipa had also recommended.
“I don’t like horror movies, I just want to get back to my book,” Turner joked. “I mean, I’m about to go do one, so it’s not that I’m not into them—it’s just that they scare me.”
Of course, Turner gets to serve up his own dose of culture to Lipa. The Masters of the Air actor admitted he allowed his pretentious side to show through during a recent screening the couple had of One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest.
“It was the first time she’d seen it, and I was like, ‘There are some famous faces here—let me see if you can guess them,’” Turner joked. “I was such a d--khead about it: ‘I’ve seen this film before, so see if you can notice these things!’”

Although the pair can often be found gallivanting around the globe, Turner admitted that books and movies are a large part of how they connect. As he put it, “Dua and I both have a strong pool of art that we love to draw upon and share with each other.”
For her part, Lipa—who often shares glimpses into the couple’s romance on her social media—has admitted that it’s hard to protect what little privacy the couple has, because their bliss demands to be shared.
“I’m happier than ever,” she told Harper’s Bazaar last year, “so it feels like I’m doing a disservice by not talking about it.”

Complementing Turner’s Ferragamo navy suit, Lipa commissioned a custom Schiaparelli skirt suit, brimmed hat by British milliner Stephen Jones, Christian Louboutin stilettos and a Bulgari necklace.
