Armed bandits amputated a farmer's hand in Kubau Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The incident occurred while the victim identified as Abdulkarim, was working on his farm.
Security analyst Bakatsine, confirmed the incident on Monday, March 2, 2026.
“On Friday evening, armed bandits amputated the hand of a farmer, Abdulkarim, and severely injured him in Kubau LGA of Kaduna State,” he wrote.
“The attackers reportedly found him working on his dry-season farm when they carried out the assault. Sources say the violence was triggered after he confronted them.
“How long will farmers continue to pay the price for insecurity in their own fields?"
