Dancing With the Stars Season 35 Cast Revealed

Guillermo Rodriguez is ready to put his best foot forward on Dancing With the Stars.

And that means signing on to the very intense rehearsal schedule. But as his pro partner Witney Carson revealed, he breathed a sigh of relief when he learned she’s expecting her and husband Carson McAllister’s third baby.

“I was telling Guillermo,” Witney recalled to E! News following the casting announcement on Sept. 2. “I'm like, ‘I'm a little nervous to tell you, but I am pregnant.’ And he's like, ‘I actually feel a little relieved because that means we’ll take a lot of breaks for food.’”

She laughed as she added, “I was like, ‘That is true. That’s very true.’”

But while the upcoming weeks will prove challenging, Witney is ready for anything that may come their way.

“Honestly, it's a blessing to be able to grow my family and work at the same time,” the 32-year-old added. Like, women are incredible. So, I'm just gonna maybe prove to myself that I can do it. And Guillermo’s been the best.”

Indeed, true to form the Jimmy Kimmel Live! personality then chimed in with his two positive cents.

“You know why she's pregnant and dancing?” he said. “Because women are the best. Women are the best people.”

As for how the 55-year-old is feeling as he prepares to step into the ballroom, Guillermo summed it up with four words: “Good, happy, great, excited.”

After all, “I think this cast is amazing,” he added. “We've already had like four rehearsals, so we're getting into the groove of it. It like feels real today, which is very wonderful.”

He also had a prediction for how his onscreen counterpart Jimmy Kimmel would discuss Guillermo’s DWTS run.

“He's gonna make a lot of fun of me,” he joked, adding that when he tries to dance, “My body—my belly stays here, and my legs go that way. I wanna go the entire body that way, but I can't.”

“So, he's gonna make fun of me,” Guillermo added, “but it's all good, all good.”

After all, this experience for him is all about seeing what he can accomplish.

“I'm just gonna, you know, show that that I can do it, and I'm trying my best,” he explained. “I'm putting a lot of effort, 100 percent.”

However, I added five more Dancing With the Stars on the board."
