The legal team representing Karim Khan, the ousted Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC), has declared that their client is the target of a politically motivated witch hunt. According to his lawyers, the campaign against Khan was prompted by his decision to pursue war crimes charges against Israeli leaders.
Khan was removed from his post at the international tribunal following allegations of sexual assault.
