At least five countries have been eliminated from the ongoing Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, WAFCON.
They are Senegal, Cape Verde, Kenya, Tanzania, and Burkina Faso.
The teams were eliminated following the conclusion of early group matches played on Monday and Tuesday.
More teams will be eliminated from the competition later today after Group C fixtures are concluded.
DAILY POST reports that Nigeria will face Egypt, while Malawi will tackle Zambia.
On Thursday, Mali will face Ghana, while Cameroon will clash with Cape Verde.
