Nigerian striker Josh Maja has finalized a permanent transfer to French club Le Havre AC, Daily Post reports.
The 27-year-old forward joined the club on a free transfer after turning down a new contract offer from Sky Bet Championship side West Bromwich Albion. Maja has signed a one-year contract with Le Havre, which includes an option for a second year. The former Sunderland attacker will wear the number 9 jersey at the Stade Océane.
This move marks a return to French football for Maja, who previously played for Girondins Bordeaux from January 2019 to June 2023. During his time with the Navy and Whites, the striker scored 25 goals in 85 league appearances.
