Watch Pink's Daughter Willow Belt Out Tony Awards-Inspired Performance
Broadway stars are gearing up to take the ultimate bow.
Indeed, the nominations for the 2026 Tony Awards were announced by Uzo Aduba and Darren Criss May 5 on CBS Mornings, honoring the best and brightest in theater.
And this year’s competition was stiff. After all, The Lost Boys and Schmigadoon! led the charge with 12 nods each. Meanwhile, Ragtime followed close behind with 11 nominations while Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman, Cats: The Jellicle Ball and Richard O'Brien's The Rocky Horror Show came in with nine.
As for individual nominees, Daniel Radcliffe is just one celeb being recognized for his theater performance. After all, the Harry Potter alum was nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Play for his dazzling performance in Every Brilliant Thing, going head-to-head against Will Harrison (Punch), Nathan Lane (Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman), John Lithgow (Giant) and Mark Strong (Oedipus).
But Daniel isn’t the only screen actor spotted among this year’s talented performers. Rose Byrne (Fallen Angels) and Carrie Coon (Bug) were also nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Play. (They're up against Rose's Fallen Angels costar Kelli O'Hara, Liberation's Susannah Flood and Oedipus' Lesley Manville).

And we can’t talk Tony nods without mentioning musicals. This year, Luke Evans was recognized in the Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical category for his starring role in Richard O'Brien's The Rocky Horror Show. Meanwhile, Sara Chase was nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical for Schmigadoon!
And when it comes to crowning the year’s Best Musical winner, theater lovers will have to wait until June 7 to see whether The Lost Boys, Schmigadoon!, Titaníque or Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York) nabs the honor.
Until then, keep reading for a full list of the 2026 Tony nominees…
