Nigeria international Samuel Chukwueze is adapting to a fresh tactical role under AC Milan's head coach, Ruben Amorim, according to a report from DAILY POST.
The 27-year-old, who spent the previous season on loan in the Premier League with Fulham, put on a standout performance during Milan's recent pre-season friendly against Manchester United. Playing in Wroclaw last weekend, Chukwueze contributed one goal and two assists to help secure a 4-2 victory for his side.
Amorim has transitioned the player into a wing-back position, a change Chukwueze views as a key opportunity to establish himself as a regular starter in the squad.
Speaking to the Italian sports newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport, Chukwueze expressed confidence in his ability to adapt to the demanding new role.
“So I just have to keep working hard, believing in myself and that I can do it. For me, it’s an opportunity I have to seize. I know it’s a difficult task, but I believe in myself. I know I can do it, that I can do anything
