Law enforcement officials have now confirmed that the man responsible for the mass shooting at Buford’s Backyard Beer Garden was Ndiaga Diagne, a 53-year-old resident of Pflugerville, Texas. Diagne, a naturalized U.S. citizen who emigrated from Senegal in 2006, was shot and killed by police officers at the scene after a violent rampage that left two people dead and 14 others wounded.
