Miley Cyrus Shares How Her 13-Year-Old Self Envisioned Her Future
Nobody’s life is perfect, but Miley Cyrus will beg to differ.
As the “One In A Million” singer continues to reflect on her teen years through her Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special, she shared how her 13-year-old self envisioned where she is today.
“I think exactly like this,” Miley, 33, told E! News’ Erin Lim Rhodes in an exclusive interview at the premiere of the Disney+ special March 23. “I mean, everyone here that I love, my family, all the fans, [and] the loyalty. My life is so beautiful, so this is perfect.”
After all, in the last year alone, the Plastic Hearts star got engaged to Maxx Morando and won her second Grammy. And true to Miley’s words, her loved ones rallied around her during those pivotal moments and the night of the premiere. Her fiancé alongside her mom Tish Cyrus, sister Brandi Cyrus, and the majority of her Hannah Montana costars—including Jason Earles, Cody Linley, and Moisés Arias—reunited on the red carpet, their outfits glimmering in a nostalgic hue.
In the special (which released on March 24), Miley dropped some hidden gems about her iconic run on Hannah Montana, like how she “secretly” dated The Suite Life of Zack & Cody alum Dylan Sprouse while working on the series.
“Dylan Sprouse was my boyfriend,” she told Alex Cooper in the Disney+ release. “I think he was the cutest. Dylan was my crush.”
Though Miley didn’t share how long their relationship lasted, she admitted she also became close with his twin brother Cole Sprouse—although, she reiterated she only had heart eyes for Dylan at the time.
“Their dad would take us to sushi,” she reminisced on their date nights. “I was into the whole culture, and it was a two-for-one. Like, bring the brother. Hello!”

How Taylor Swift Was Cast in Hannah Montana: The Movie
"For that scene, get the tea kettle," Miley joked. We both performed in the barn."
