Gigi Hadid's Underwear Is On Display in Fully Sheer Met Gala 2026 Gown
Go, Kylie Jenner, go!
Of course, the Kardashians star was doing amazing, sweetie, as she stunned at the 2026 Met Gala May 4.
In keeping with the night’s dress code of “Fashion Is Art,” Kylie ascended the steps at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art wearing a haute couture design by Schiaparelli that featured a nude illusion corset bustier with fake nipple details on the bust.
The curve-hugging, skin-toned top was expertly contrasted with a dramatic, flowing cream skirt with stunning bead work on the front and train. The bottom half was designed so it looked like Kylie had begun undressing before her arrival.
The 28-year-old finished off her look with her brunette hair in waves cascading down her shoulders at the “Costume Art”-themed event, co-chaired by Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman and Venus Williams. (See all the celebrities at the Met Gala here.) And who could miss Kyle's jaw-dropping diamond and pearl necklace and matching earrings.
This marks the reality star’s ninth time at the annual Costume Institute benefit since making her debut in 2016. For her inaugural look, Kylie wore a silver fringed Balmain gown, complete with an Anna Wintour-esque bob hairdo for the night’s theme of “Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology.”
And after almost two decades in the spotlight, the Kylie Cosmetics founder is feeling more confident about her place in the fashion world—just ask her stylists Alexandra Grandquist and Mackenzie Grandquist.
“She has fun with it,” the duo told British Vogue in 2024. “She knows herself. [It’s] what makes her relatable to a generation of women.”
Kylie agreed, telling the outlet, “I feel like I’m finally finding my fashion feet.”

As she explained, she had the chance to really explore the world of fashion after giving birth to daughter Stormi, 8, and son Aire, 4, who she shares with ex Travis Scott.
“I feel like I’ve been in full mommy mode in my early 20s, [so] just to do something more for me after I had my son,” Kylie shared. “I’ve been way more into the fashion world and fashion week, and it’s been so much fun. I’m like, ‘Why didn’t I do this sooner?’ Every time I go to Paris things just happen. I love the fast pace. It’s a whole new world.”
To that end, the Khy founder—who has been dating Timothée Chalamet since 2023—also likes to be as involved as possible when it comes to her red carpet fashion, something Alexandra and Mackenzie appreciate.
“She knows herself and her body very well,” they said. “Kylie is a fashion icon because of how she wears the clothing.”
