Kylie Jenner Shares Glimpse at Eye-Popping Birkin Collection
Make no mistake, Kylie Jenner is in control.
The Kardashians star dispelled any notions that she's just the face of her fashion brand Khy, which is gearing up for a relaunch three years after its founding.
"I’m super involved," Kylie—who gained full creative control of Khy from collaborators Jens Grede and Emma Grede about a year after its inception—told Vogue in an interview published April 27. "I’m there every Wednesday, and then I never stop blowing their phones up, even on the weekend, they’re probably over me now."
"I’ll start with an inspiration board, then it moves from inspiration to sketches," she added. "Then, I like to see a million samples."
The 28-year-old revealed that she also leans on longtime bestie Anastasia "Stassie" Karanikolaou for feedback on Khy samples.
"She knows me so well," she explained. "We’ve known each other since we were 11, so she’ll come over and as a last check, I’ll make her try everything on—I love her attention to detail."
The Moment actress also gathers feedback from her broader friend group, which is something she plans on doing more of as the brand evolves.
"I’m asking, ‘Are we wearing this next summer?’ And if they’re like ‘Honestly, no,’ then I’ll kill it," Kylie said. "I’m listening to my friends. I’m listening to everyone on my team, my customers. I think we’re really trying to make people happy."

The mother of two—she shares Stormi, 8, and Aire, 4, with ex Travis Scott—also pointed to her 10 years of experience overseeing Kylie Cosmetics as informing how she approaches Khy.
"I’ve learned a lot from Kylie Cosmetics that I’ve implemented here," she shared. "Team-building, listening to your customer, attention to detail. It’s really similar actually."
In fact, Kylie had recently clarified how involved she continues to be in the beauty brand that she started when she was just 18 years old.
"I'm super involved,” Kylie said on the April 1 episode of Kid Cudi’s new Big Bro podcast. “Like, really crazy about everything."
“I do the Instagram," she continued. "I do all the posts. I do all the marketing, all the shoots, picking the models, all the makeup, all the formulas, knowing all the factories.”

And she also reaffirmed that she is still just as passionate about the company as she was when she launched it in 2015.
“10 years later, I'm just so grateful because I really love it,” she explained. “I go to work every day in the office and I can't believe I get to play with makeup all day.”
