An overnight escalation of Israeli military action in southern Lebanon has left seven people dead and three injured, marking the deadliest single attack since a June agreement calmed hostilities.
According to Lebanon's state-run National News Agency (NNA), an early Saturday airstrike completely demolished a residence on the outer edge of Ansar, located in the Nabatieh district. Emergency responders from the Lebanon’s Civil Defence, the Islamic Health Authority, and the Islamic Message Scout Association worked to clear the debris and transport victims to medical facilities in Nabatieh.
