Is Ice Spice Pregnant? Explaining Her "Out My Face" Music Video

Ice Spice's latest track is bringing fans bundles of joy.

That's because the "Princess Diana" rapper shows off a baby bump in her "Out My Face" music video, out Aug. 28, leading some listeners to conclude that the visual could be a pregnancy announcement—but her belly was just a costume.

On the musical collab with Lil Yachty, the 26-year-old raps, "Matter fact, make me a mom." And in the single's surrealist video, Ice Spice stands on a pedestal as she grows a pregnant belly while rapping those lyrics, an artistic choice apparently achieved by special effects.

Still, many of her fans have interpreted the scene to be the performer's avant-garde way of sharing she has been made a mom.

"THE WAY I JUST SCREAMED," one user replied to a fan account reporting the perceived reveal on X. "THERES NO WAY THIS IS REAL."

While many fans shared similar disbelief about the baby bump, others seemed to believe the suspected news added up.

As one of Ice Spice's followers wrote alongside a crying emoji, "This is why she hasn’t posted for a while."

Despite the buzz, some users criticized the "Deli” artist when they realized it was a prop instead of a bonafide pregnancy reveal. As such, other fans clapped back to defend Ice Spice's apparent choice to show a pregnant version of herself without actually carrying a child.

"Yall be so mad at ARTists for expressing ART. yall so pressed about what yall want to see and hear only," one comment read in response to Ice Spice's Instagram promoting the music video. "Let these folks create and express, and if it aint your style... cool?"

The Bronx native has not yet publicly responded to the speculation, though she previously shut down pregnancy rumors in 2024.

In response to commentary surrounding a full-body picture of herself that she shared online, Ice Spice wrote in a since-deleted tweet as reported by Buzzfeed News, "nobody pregnant n---as just phat."
