Gigi Hadid's Underwear is On Display in Sheer Met Gala 2026 Gown

Gigi Hadid turned the 2026 Met Gala steps into her own personal runway, abiding by the "Fashion Is Art" dress code in a dazzling sheer gown that left her underwear on display.

Gigi Hadid is officially a perfect 10 at the Met Gala.

As in, not only did she stun once again May 4 at the benefit for the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute—with "Costume Art" serving as the newest exhibit and theme—the supermodel also hasn't missed the storied steps since attending her first Met Gala in 2015.

And her looks have grown ever bolder along the way. In honor of this year's dress code "Fashion Is Art," Gigi opted for a gorgeous custom Miu Miu gown, whose sheer design left her white underwear on display. The gown was decorated with floral designs that carefully covered the model's other assets. (See all the fashion on display at the 2026 Met Gala here.)

Gigi's winning streak also means that she and boyfriend of nearly three years Bradley Cooper have attended the Met Gala at least at the same time on several occasions, if not purposely together as yet.

Despite speculation that it could happen, the couple did not take the opportunity to make a date out of this particular night, which is being co-chaired by Anna Wintour, Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman and Venus Williams.

But Bradley did play a role in getting last year's Met Gala day off to a good start for Gigi, who later told Vogue that they woke up together and had a "chill morning" before she had to go home and start the getting-ready process.

Incidentally, the first Monday in May also comes on the heels of Gigi's birthday. Having just turned 30 on April 23, the Miu Miu-clad model told Vogue at the 2025 Met Gala that she wanted the start of her fourth decade to be about taking life "day by day."

"Fix today, you don't have to fix tomorrow," she explained, "and also just say what you think when you think it. Don't hold onto things."

But it is acceptable to hang onto the memory of all these stunning looks at the 2026 Met Gala:
