Manchester United captain, Bruno Fernandes has acknowledged Arsenal’s remarkable achievement in winning the Premier League title for the 2025-26 season.
Arsenal clinched the Premier League title, marking the end of a 22-year title drought at the Emirates Stadium.
Following a disappointing 2024-25 domestic season in which they finished 16th, Manchester United had a commendable 2025-26 campaign, securing third place behind Arsenal and Manchester City and qualifying for the UEFA Champions League after a year’s absence.
In addition to their league victory, Mikel Arteta’s team came very close to clinching their first UEFA Champions League title. They took the lead in the final against defending champions Paris Saint-Germain but ultimately lost in a penalty shootout after a 1-1 draw following extra time.

Arsenal last lifted the Premier League trophy in 2004 under Arsene Wenger, completing the season unbeaten, a feat that became known as the ‘Invincibles’.
Two years later, they reached their first UEFA Champions League final, where they squandered a lead and lost 2-1 to Barcelona.
