John Davis, a YouTuber who made content alongside his mother for a series titled “Coffee Time With John and Momma,” has died following an on-camera medial epsiode. He was 55.

Fans are mourning the loss of John Davis.
The YouTuber, who made videos alongside his mother Frances "Tootsie" Davis in a series titled “Coffee Time With John and Momma,” died on June 10 following a medical episode. He was 55.
A deputy from the Campbell County Sheriff's Office, per an incident report obtained by People, responded to a call regarding a "male who had stopped breathing.” Per the report, police and emergency medical services pronounced Davis dead at the scene.
According to the report, Davis had been suffering from heart failure, kidney failure, high blood pressure and diabetes in addition to having obstructive sleep apnea.
The county's medical examiner, per the filing, does not "believe there was anything suspicious about the situation” surrounding Davis’ death.
E! News has reached out to Campbell County’s Chief of Police for comment but has not yet heard back.
According to TMZ, as well as several posts on social media, Davis’ medical episode occurred when he was livestreaming on Facebook. The video has since been removed from his social media pages.
On “Coffee Time With John and Momma,” Davis and his mother amassed over two hundred thousand followers across Facebook and YouTube by sharing videos and livestreams of the pair cooking together.

The last video on their page, since the June 10 stream was removed, was posted on June 9 and shows the pair making a tomato parm dish complete with ranch dressing for dessert.
Following Davis’ death, longtime fans of his and his mother’s page soon poured love into the comment section of the pair’s last video.
“The Coffee Time With John and Momma community is devastated today,” one user wrote. “Losing John is so very hard to accept. But knowing Momma has lost him is what hurts the most. She is a precious lady who loved her son dearly.”

Another added, “The John and Momma community is heartbroken to hear this news. Prayers to you Momma.”
Other users were discovering the Davis’ page for the first time, enjoying seeing the mother and son’s close bond.
“Dear John & Momma, I wish I knew about you long before now, I unfortunately only heard about your channel today,” one user wrote. “I am watching some of your videos, you guys are such kind, happy and friendly people. I am so sorry Momma for your loss, for the world’s loss of John. May he be resting in eternal peace now.”
