Met Gala 2026: Ciara Miller Reveals the Pro She’s Campaigning to Be Her 'DWTS' Partner
Ciara Miller is ready to put on her dancing shoes.
While the Summer House star has a big first Monday of May ahead of her—she's one of the fashion experts on the panel for Live From E!: Met Gala 2026—she's already thinking about her next big gig as a member of the Dancing With the Stars season 35 cast.
More specifically, she's got a plan for which dancer she's hoping to twirl into first place with: Val Chmerkovskiy.
"I've been campaigning for Val," Ciara told Erin Lim Rhodes during the Live From E! Stream: Met Gala. "I don't know if they hear me, but yeah, sending out some emails, putting my word in. We'll see where everyone wants to place me."
While the pro-celebrity pairings are in the hands of the Dancing With the Stars team, Val would be a smart pick on Ciara's part. After all, he and partner Alix Earle landed in second place during season 34 behind Robert Irwin and Witney Carson.
As for which dances Ciara is looking forward to learning, she named the Cha Cha, but she's also "really excited for a waltz."
"Very random," she admitted, "but a box step I've always loved. Like, I want to be in Bridgerton so bad."
And with the 30-year-old's star currently on a meteoric rise, perhaps a stint on the Netflix series is just around the corner.
But as for the immediate future, Ciara made sure her look to help cover the 2026 Met Gala fashion was its own piece of art.
For the occasion, the reality star donned an all-white corseted top and skirt combo. As for how she landed on the look, it was apparently love at first sight.
“I saw this, and I texted my stylist, ‘like, I love this,’” she added to Erin. “And then he's like, ‘Okay, great,’ but we're always gonna see like, five or six more options, because sometimes I'm too laser focused.”
And while her stylist noted the importance of seeing things actually on, Ciara's vision shortly came to life.
“Honestly, I put this on," she recalled, "and I was like, ‘I am obsessed. I love this. Take it to the tailor. Make it for my body. Make it a little bit more TV friendly.’”
And it was the dramatic corset in particular that caused her to swoon.
“I feel like corsets were made at the beginning of time," Ciara said. "We had a corset before we had electricity. Why not incorporate that into my look? I feel like I'm serving bridal, but I feel like I just wanted to look like super snatch, no waist, give people something to look up top, and of course, had to have a little hair piece.”
