Selena Gomez Sends Love to Benny Blanco Amid Buzz Over His Appearance
Selena Gomez's heart wants what it wants—and sometimes that's having fast food for breakfast.
Indeed, Benny Blanco revealed his wife—whom he married during an intimate ceremony in September 2025—has some unexpected eating habits for an A-list beauty icon.
"[Selena] has the diet of a 5-year-old child," Benny told Gwyneth Paltrow during a private live-taping of the Goop Podcast on May 12, per The Daily Mail, explaining that the former Disney star prefers "whatever is bad for your diet."
Benny revealed that Selena's top picks are burgers and fries from the same fast food chain she admitted was her favorite on a 2022 episode of her cooking show, Selena + Chef. "This morning,” Benny said, "I walked in and she was eating Jack in the Box at 6:45 in the morning."
Though Benny confessed his wife "doesn't really like fruits or vegetables," the music producer also acknowledged the "one healthy thing" Selena enjoys. "She will eat the s--t out of Goop," Benny conceded of Gwyneth's health food chain, though he noted Selena leaves the lettuce for him, opting instead for "everything on top of the salad."
After learning of Selena's unconventional eating habits, Gwyneth had to warn the crowd, "This is NOT Goop approved!”
However, Benny has found ways to indulge the singer's fun foodie taste over the years. Since he said Selena "isn't much of a flowers girl," Benny gifted Selena a bathtub full of nacho cheese—complete with a romantic trail of tortilla chips for dipping—on Valentine's Day 2025.
The Disney Channel alum was thrilled by the surprise, commenting under an Instagram post that captured the grand gesture, "I love everything bout this."

And it's not the only time the couple has gotten candid about supporting each other's quirks. In fact, Selena was quick to show Benny some love online after the premiere episode of his podcast Friends Keep Secrets—created with Lil Dicky and Kristin Batalucco—accidentally showed off black dirt on the bottom of Benny's bare feet.
The Emilia Pérez star captioned an Instagram Story on Feb. 25 showing herself and her "love" sharing a series of sweet kisses with the words, "I fall more and more in love with you every day."
“First of all, it’s the facility’s fault, it’s not mine,” Benny explained soon after, during a Feb. 26 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! of his seemingly unsightly toes. “I have great feet.”

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco began dating in July 2023, around Selena's birthday, Benny said on the Howard Stern Show in May 2024.
But they only began to spark romance rumors in late 2023. That December, Selena confirmed the speculation, commenting on a fan page's Instagram post, regarding Benny, "He is my absolute everything in my heart."
She continued, "Why has he been the best thing that's ever happened to me. He's still better than anyone I've ever been with."
