A Quiet Place Part III is finally a go at Paramount.

Sinners villain Jack O’Connell, Jason Clarke (House of Dynamite) and Love Lies Bleeding breakout Katy O’Brian have joined returning stars Emily Blunt, Cillian Murphy, Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe for the upcoming horror creature feature.

John Krasinski, who directed the previous two installments and is helming the third entry, made the announcement on Instagram Monday.

Krasinski also wrote the script and is producing with Allyson Seeger, his partner at banner Sunday Night. Michael Bay, Brad Fuller and Andrew Form are also producing.

Production is due to begin this spring in New York in mind for a July 30, 2027 release date.

A Quiet Place became a buzzy hit in 2018 as it told of a family that fights for survival as it contends with fearsome creatures that target anything that makes a sound. Scary, thrilling, and heartfelt, the movie was a surprise hit, making over $341 million worldwide. Krasinski co-wrote the movie, directed it, and starred in it with his wife, Blunt.

The sequel, which was to have been released March 2020, was pushed back several times – to September 2020, then to April 2021, then finally to September 2021 – due to the raging Covid-19 pandemic. When it finally hit theaters, is grossed  $297.4 million.

The movie carried on the story of the family and ended on a cliffhanger; fans have had to endure a wait of over half a decade for the continuation.

(The franchise did take a detour for A Quiet Place Day: Day One, released in 2024. Michael Sarnoski directed the movie and co-wrote the story with Krasinski. It starred Lupita Nyong’o and Joseph Quinn.)
