The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has faced criticism for its decision to halt the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) process ahead of the 2027 general elections. Sam Amadi, the Director of the Abuja School of Social and Political Thought, argued that the registration window should remain open much longer.
