Bayern Munich striker, Harry Kane, has said winning the 2026 Ballon d’Or award is not in his hands.
Kane is regarded as the favourite to win the prestigious individual award by several bookmakers.
But the England captain, who has scored 73 goals for the Bundesliga champions, insists that he has done enough to win it.
“It’s the biggest award you can get. The Ballon d’Or isn’t in my hands,” Kane said.
“I’ve done what I could in terms of performing.
“Of course, it would be fantastic if it happens. But ultimately, there’s still 2-3 months until a decision is made.”
